Meet the Team

Dr. Jamie Sweigart, D.O., Lead Psychiatrist

Based in Southeast Michigan, Dr. Jamie Sweigart, D.O., is a board-certified psychiatrist. She earned her medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and attended her psychiatry residency at Detroit's Henry Ford Hospital. She further honed her skills with additional training in psychodynamic therapy at the Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute and holds a forensic examiner certification from the State of Michigan.

Her journey into the medical field was preceded by intensive neuroscience research. Over her training period, she developed a fascination with the role of psychedelics in mental health, leading to contributions in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy research on a national level.

Outside of her professional duties, Dr. Sweigart, fondly known as “Dr. J”, enjoys in home improvement projects, painting, writing, gardening, yoga, and spending quality time with her family.
