EMERGENCIES

  • If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, including suicidal or homicidal ideations, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

  • If you require contact with the psychiatrist outside of your scheduled appointments, please do not hesitate to send an email or make a phone call. The psychiatrist will make all efforts to respond to your message within a timeframe of 24 to 48 hours on regular business days.

APPOINTMENTS

  • All appointments are telehealth only.

  • Currently, INSIGHT serves clients aged 18+ at this time.

  • Frequency and length of appointments are determined on a case-by-case basis depending on the client’s needs.

PSYCHEDELIC-ASSISTED THERAPY EDUCATION SERVICES

  • At INSIGHT, we do not support or promote illegal use of drugs or activities. 

  • While INSIGHT does provide psychedelic education, evaluation, preparation and integration services for legal psychedelic use (for example, FDA clinically-approved trials or legal international/overseas usage), we do not under any circumstances provide psychedelic drugs or referrals for obtaining illegal substances.

HIPAA

  • Services provided by INSIGHT are HIPAA-compliant (as to The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996).

INSURANCE

  • INSIGHT does not accept insurance at this time. Upon request, we will provide you with an itemized invoice you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

  • Please note, it is the responsibility of the client to contact their insurance company for individual out-of-network reimbursement policy.

  • Billing statements will be generated and sent to your email address at the end of each month.

PAYMENTS & FEES

  • The cost may vary based on the nature of the psychiatric service (length of sessions, frequency, etc.), and a notice regarding these charges will be provided prior to the commencement of the services.

  • Payment is expected within two weeks (14 days) from the date of the invoice. If this arrangement is not possible for you, payment plans are available. Please ensure that any alternative payment arrangements are confirmed before the start of the service, or communicated as quickly as possible.

  • Payment is expected within two weeks of billing statement. Payment plans are available if this is not feasible for you; please discuss with your provider.

  • Sliding scale fees are available with proof of economic hardship, please inquire.

  • Missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24-hours notice via telephone call or email (“no call, no show”) are billed the full fee.  (Documented emergencies will not be charged.)
